Thunder All Ready to Roll in Bid to Take Title from Storm

DAN Ryan has taken Manchester Thunder to the verge of the Superleague title in his first season in charge - and he has loved every minute of it.

After winning the ANZ Championship as assistant coach with Adelaide Thunderbirds in 2013, Ryan takes Thunder to the Copperbox today for the Super League Grand Final against Surrey Storm.

The yellow and blacks have made it to the showdown having lost just once all season - to defending champions Surrey - topping the table in the process. And they head into today's game favourites.

Ryan said: "This has been one of the best experiences of my life and I'm so glad I made the decision to move to the other side of the world and take on this challenge.

"We've looked closely at our opposition as much as we have looked at ourselves and we're prepared and ready to go. …
