RYAN Lowe enjoyed a fairy tale farewell at Bury as he bagged a brace to fire the Shakers to victory.

Franck Moussa and David Mooney put the visitors in front during the first half, only for Bury to twice level through an Adam Barrett own goal and Lowe.

The veteran striker was captain for his final game for the Shakers after announcing he is leaving the club this summer.

And the 37-year-old signed off in style, converting a stoppage-time penalty to clinch victory and make it 70 goals in 160 games for Bury.

Boss David Flitcroft said: "You couldn't write it. It was the 93rd minute and you just knew he'd score it, he's the ultimate professional.
