OLDHAM Athletic goalkeeper David Cornell believes teammate Joel Coleman is good enough to be a regular for any team in League One.

Cornell, 24, has been Latics' starting keeper over the past month after Coleman began the season in goal.

Coleman hasn't played for Oldham since David Dunn became boss in September, with the 20-year-old's last appearance coming in the 5-1 home defeat to Peterborough.

Cornell, a summer signing from Swansea, picked up his first clean sheet for Latics during Saturday's 0-0 draw with Rochdale and he knows Coleman is constantly breathing down his neck.

"I always feel the pressure from Joel and he's too good to be a number two in this league," he said.

"My mentality has changed from the first game until now as I have a bit more experience now. …
