CHARLIE Schofield insists he is in the best shape of his life ahead of his latest fight this weekend.

The 22-year-old returns to action at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, hoping to extend his unbeaten record to 4-0. He competed in the light heavyweight division in his last bout after making his debut at cruiserweight and Schofield believes the change of weight class has been a huge benefit.

"Ahead of this fight I feel faster and stronger than I ever have before," he said.

"I stayed in the gym after my last contest six weeks ago and things have been great.

"My diet is clean and I'm really enjoying fighting at light heavyweight as my body has completely changed and it's not been hard to keep the weight off.

"But I can't look back and say I shouldn't have started cruiserweight as it was a great experience for me. …
