- FABIAN Delph has raised further injury concerns after pulling out of the England squad to face France at Wembley tonight.

The City midfielder was unable to train today, with the FA giving no reason other than that he was "unfit to train".

Delph played for England in Friday night's 2-0 defeat by Spain, but was replaced by Dele Alli after 63 minutes, with no signs of a problem.

The Pounds 8m buy from Aston Villa has made just four substitute appearances for the Blues since he joined in the summer, after suffering two hamstring injuries.

The first came after just 19 minutes of City's friendly defeat by Real Madrid in Melbourne, which meant he missed the start of the season.

After making his comeback in August, he was struck down by another hamstring problem just a few minutes into England's Euro 2016 qualifier with Switzerland in September. …
