Leigh Deal for Drinkwater Puts Chase Future Back in Melting Pot

RANGI Chase's Leigh Centurions future has again been called into question after the club secured the signing of Australian half-back Josh Drinkwater on a short-term deal to the end of the season.

The 23-year-old arrives from Wests Tigers to take up his second stint in England, having top-scored for London Broncos in their 2014 relegation season from the Super League.

Although named in Wests' 30-man NRL squad, Drinkwater has featured more regularly in the New South Wales Cup feeder competition. He arrives as the Centurions look to cement their push towards achieving Super League status.
