* #ForArtsSake: What would a world be like without art, without moments of contemplation, reflection and beauty? Pittsburgh is lucky to have such a vibrant arts scene and the love for art was showcased at the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh's Annual Exhibition opening on Friday night at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Oakland. Patrons and art lovers previewed work by emerging and established artists from around the city. "This is one of our main fundraisers. We have 600 local and regional artists that we help to support through these events," said executive director Juliana Morris.
