* Act 1: Known as the party of the century, Truman Capote's Black and White Ball is still considered the finest of fetes. Fifty years later, that legendary evening was resurrected by the Pittsburgh Public Theater for its own Black & White party at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh hotel, Downtown, on Monday night. PPT artistic director Ted Pappas and Truman Capote (actor Eddie Korbich) greeted guests as they ascended the stairs to the grand ballroom lobby. Mr. Korbich is starring in "Tru" at the O'Reilly Theater until May 22. The reception's theme was cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at Tiffany's, which gave co-chairs, Matthew Ray with Cio and Scott Cunningham with Sally, a chance to mingle.
