GREENSBURG SALEM GRAD OBERDORF HAS MVP PERFORMANCE AT MARIST

The Marist softball team will be in the NCAA tournament, and Jayne Oberdorf is one of the main reasons. Marist won the MAAC title last weekend, and Oberdorf, a junior pitcher from Greensburg Salem, was the tournament MVP. In three MAAC games, she was 3-0 with a 0.67 ERA and allowed only 10 hits in 21 innings. Her sister, freshman second baseman Claire, was named to the all-tournament team. Jayne is 16-3 this season while Claire has a team-best .382 batting average.
