Feller, Eugenepassed away on May 12, 2016. Born December 29, 1934 in Langford, South Dakota, to Margaret Rust Krastetter and Gordon Krastetter and was later adopted by Midge's second husband Orville Fellers. Gene graduated from Aberdeen Central High School in 1952. Immediately upon graduation enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he served 13 months as a communications operator on a small island off the coast of N. Korea setting up an Omni Station. The remaining time was spent as a survivalist instructor, teaching enlisted men and officers alike how to survive in rugged terrain. He began his career in the plating industry at McDonald Douglas and in 1959 he started Aero Metal Finishing Company in Valley Park, Missouri. Gene retired in 1977 and moved full time to Marco Island. He loved golf, football and happy hour but his greatest passion was traveling on his boat for six months every year with the love of his life and first mate Ysabel Garland. …
