ROUNDUP ; Power One-Hit in 6-0 Loss

The West Virginia Power could only muster one hit in getting shutout 6-0 at Charleston (S.C.) Tuesday night at Joseph P. Riley Jr. Ballpark. Ryan Nagle was the only Power (22-22) player to get a hit off two RiverDogs pitchers in Luis Cedeno and Nestor Cortes, who combined to strike out eight.

Charleston (29-15) scored a run in the first and seventh inning, and tacked on four insurance runs in the eighth inning.

Bret Helton (1-4) was the took the loss for the Power, after only allowing one earned run in six innings. The two teams conclude the three- game series on Wednesday with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

MARSHALL TRACK: Marshall's Antonique Butler qualified for the NCAA Women's National Track and Field Championships in the triple jump.

A junior, Butler will compete this weekend in the East Regional in Jacksonville, Florida at the University of North Florida this Thursday through Saturday. …
