I get it. It happens every four years. Each presidential election cycle is filled with lies, acrimonious allegations and a little madness. It used to be two candidates running for president stirring the passions of the electorate. The election cycle produced a clear choice between good and evil.

This election cycle is different. Why? Many Republicans and Democrats will hold their noses when voting in November because the political parties are divided and in chaos. Some will stay home on Election Day and not vote.

While the candidates at the top of the ticket will produce the usual "good vs. evil" narratives, each party will still want to dump Donald Trump and feel the Bern.

In the past, we were told to come together and support the party after the primary election process ended. This model is eroding because many registered Democrats and Republicans believe that the system is rigged and it prevents outsiders from winning. …
