WAKEFIELD may have arrived at the AJ Bell on the back of an eight- game winning streak, but Salford sent them packing with an impressive win.

A pair of tries from both Robert Lui and Ryan Lannon, and solo efforts from Junior Sa'u, George Griffin and Mark Flanagan, saw Salford blow the visitors away in the second half.

The sin-binning of former Devil Ben Jones-Bishop on the half- time hooter put paid to any hopes Wakefield had of making it nine wins on the bounce.

"It's great to back up the game last week with another win," said Salford head coach Ian Watson.

"We're a good group, and we're confident. It's our hard work off the ball that gets us those wins. We've seen that against teams like Leeds when we played them here."

On young Lannon, Watson was glowing in his praise.
