JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL

The 21st annual St. Louis Jewish Film Festival opens with two films Sunday at the Landmark Plaza Frontenac Cinema. The first, "In Search of Israeli Cuisine" is at 4 p.m. It is a portrait of Israeli people told through their food. The second film, at 7 p.m., is "Norman Lear: Just A Different Version of You." It profiles producer, writer and activist and the man behind TV shows such as "All in the Family," "Sanford and Son" and "Maude."

The festival continues through Thursday with its celebration of Jewish life through 18 documentary and feature films.
