FORMER Sony worker Graeme Ankers has launched an independent game studio in Manchester.

The studio director has teamed up with Si Donbavand, of Playstation, to create Fabrik.

Located at The Sharp Project, Manchester's digital content production complex, the games company occupies a 1,200 sq ft space.

They have 20 staff based in their Manchester studio, with bold ambitions to grow.

CEO Graeme said: "Fabrik is a unique independent studio and publisher.

"We have secured some of the best talent in the world who have worked across gaming's biggest names - such as Call of Duty Strike Team, Motorstorm, Battlefield, and Need for Speed.

"The approach of uniting new game development teams with our inhouse expertise is already delivering great results.
