DOWNTOWN WALKING TOURS

The Landmarks Association of St. Louis is hosting three walking tours of downtown architecture each Saturday through Oct. 29.

Downtown East: 10 a.m. at the Broadway entrance to the Old Courthouse, includes the Old Cathedral, the Eads Bridge and Old Post Office.

Downtown West: 10 a.m. at the 1820 Market Street entrance to St. Louis Union Station, includes the Peabody Opera House, City Hall and the Central Library.

Downtown North: 1 p.m. at the northeast corner of Washington Avenue and Fourth Street, on the history of the garment factories and other commerce on Washington Avenue.

Participation is $10 per person (cash only), free for children 12 years or younger. No reservations are needed for groups of 10 or fewer. …
