HOBART - The 8th annual Celebration of Freedom is scheduled June 17-18 in Hobart.

The event dedicated to celebrating patriotism, honoring the armed forces and remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice for freedoms is presented by the Gen. Tommy Franks Leadership Institute and Museum.

Celebration of Freedom will open at 9 a.m. June 17 and include carnival rides in downtown Hobart, a skeet and trap shooting event at the Hobart Gun Range, live music and craft and food vendors.

A silent auction will include a buffalo hunt on Four Star Ranch.

The annual motorcycle poker run will start at 8 a.m. June 18 from Wind River Harley in Lawton, with the last bike out at 9:45 a.m. The caravan will meet for the final draw and Thunder Run lineup at the Hobart Municipal Airport at 2:30 p. …
