Junkyard Golf Set to Swing Back into Action in New Home

POP-UP putting green Junkyard Golf Club is on the move to a new home in Manchester.

After wrapping up its five-month run at the Great Northern Warehouse last month, the craziest of crazy golf courses will be back 'bigger, better and weirder', organisers B.EAT STREET have vowed.

Now a licensing application has revealed where - a stone's throw from Piccadilly station at 3 Piccadilly Place, where they are seeking permission to open and serve food and drink between 11am and midnight, seven days a week.

Built from recycled rubbish and secondhand junk - from old washing machines to a full-size boat - the golf course first opened at the Great Northern Warehouse late last year before returning in January for an extended run.

It popped up at Parklife festival this weekend and is currently on tour in London for a three-month pop-up at the Old Truman Brewery in Shoreditch. …
