Albert R. St. Jean, 86, of Venice, formerly of Maine passed away on June 7, 2016 after a long fight with Alzheimer's Disease. Al was born on January 28, 1930 in Sanford, ME to Leon and Elza (Johnson) St. Jean. He grew up in Sanford, and moved to Washington, DC as a young man. Al graduated from Benjamin Franklin University in Washington, DC with a Master's Degree in Accounting, and made a career as a certified public accountant with the I.R.S. in Washington and Baltimore, MD for 33 years. He earned the position of Chief of the Baltimore Appeals Division. Upon his retirement, Al lived in Venice for 26 years. His interests included music, skiing, running, tennis, and motorcycling. He played the trumpet as a young man, and then again after his retirement in 1987. …
