"The Outsiders," Christopher Sergel's adaptation of S.E. Hinton's coming-of-age novel about teenagers, will be staged by the like- aged Bath House Players at the Helen Hocker Theater in Gage Park. The troupe of 14- to 18-year-old actors will play the story's Greasers and Socs through June 26, with shows at 7 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 26. Tickets, which are $11 for children 12 and younger and $13 for everyone else, can be purchased at the door or at (785) 251-5990.

As part of the effort to restore the Jayhawk Theatre to its former movie palace grandeur, well-known roots singer Kelley Hunt will perform a benefit concert at 8 p.m. Saturday at the venue, 720 S.W. Jackson. Singer-songwriters Greg Fox and Ryan Wills will open. …
