A YOUNG woman has been found dead three months after her brother's violent death at a Salford University halls of residence.

Gini Lound gave the eulogy at the funeral of her brother William Lound, who was found stabbed to death at university accommodation in February.

William, a talented IT student who was originally from Southport, was found stabbed to death at student flats in the Blackfriars area of Salford in February.

But tragically, Gini, 28, has now been found dead at a shop in Southport at the weekend.

A spokesman for Merseyside Police said a woman's body had been found at a Southport convenience store in Bury Road on Sunday evening. They said the death was being treated as non-suspicious.

A family friend told the M.E.N.: "It is very sad. Gini had been so strong at William's funeral."

Gini led mourners and acted as a pall bearer at William's funeral service in Southport. …
