Article excerpt

MANHATTAN -- Kansas State athletics director John Currie announced Thursday in the latest edition of his "Letter to the Fans" the addition of two future nonconference football series with Colorado and Washington State.

K-State will host Washington State on Sept. 12, 2026 and play the Cougars in Pullman, Wash., on Sept. 8, 2029. The Wildcats previously set a basketball series with Washington State, where former K-State president Kirk Schulz is now president.

The Wildcats face former Big Eight and Big 12 rival Colorado on Sept. 18, 2027 in Boulder and the Buffaloes come to Manhattan on Sept. 16, 2028.

Currie also announced the addition of two non-conference home games with Presbyterian in 2019 and Abilene Christian in 2022.
