OKLAHOMA CITY - The Center for Learning and Leadership at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City will be part of the new Nutrition is for Everyone Project.

The Walmart Foundation awarded the Association of University Centers on Disabilities and four of its member centers $300,000 to start the Nutrition is for Everyone project. The one-year pilot project will provide nutrition education for an estimated 20,000 people in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Tennessee.

In addition to the OU Health Sciences Center, the other three centers participating in the project are Partners for Inclusive Communities at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock, Human Development Center at Louisiana State University in New Orleans and Boling Center for Development Disabilities at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. …
