LAKEWOOD, N.J. - The West Virginia Power suffered its fourth straight South Atlantic League loss Thursday, dropping a 3-2 10- inning decision to the Lakewood BlueClaws. West Virginia began its seven-game road trip with three losses at Greensboro before dropping the first of four games against Lakewood.

The Power dropped to 42-42 overall and 7-8 in the league's second- half standings, while Lakewood improved to 36-48 and 7-8.

Power starter Mitch Keller matched up against BlueClaws starter Jose Taveras in what was a pitchers' duel through six and a half innings before the BlueClaws scratched two runs across the plate in the bottom of the seventh. Jose Pujols and Deivi Grullon had RBIs in the inning for Lakewood

Taveras carried a shutout into the ninth inning, but the Power rallied with a pair of hits to start the inning, including an RBI double by Ke'Bryan Hayes. …
