We need fewer Republicans in the U.S. Congress. Their performance since taking the majority reins of Congress has been less than admirable: endless holds on presidential nominees, holding hearings to rebuke department heads for low output after cutting their budgets drastically, spending significant amounts of taxpayer money on witch hunts (I believe there were seven or more Benghazi investigations).

One political hold by the chairman of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee in relation to the Export-Import Bank has resulted in some American companies transferring operations overseas as well as states losing 1,500 jobs to countries abroad.

When up for re-election, they move from obstructionist political behaviors to promoting what they believe will get them re-elected. …
