IEEW Selects Making a Difference Award Recipients

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women has selected the recipients of the 10for10 Making a Difference awards.

The recipients are Melissa Anne Brevetti, a private tutor and coach at Positive Tomorrows, education; Shirley Harris, executive director and founder of D-Dent, health; Debbie Ozment, a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and a Mayo Clinic- certified wellness coach, faith; Jan Hill, owner of Eden Salon, volunteerism; Joy Milligan, director of Edmond's Coffee Creek Riding Center for Therapeutic Horsemanship, youth; Joan Gilmore, a columnist for The Journal Record since 1980, private sector; Lou Kohlman, a member of the Oklahoma Commission on the Status of Women and co-chair of the Oklahoma Women's Summit, government/public service; Gail Huneryager, who serves on the 2016 Allied Arts Campaign Cabinet and the Myriad Gardens Foundation board and will co- chair the Library Trust's Literary Voices event for 2017, arts; Susan Walton, executive director of Suited for Success, nonprofit; and Donna Bassham, food mission director for the Douglas Boulevard United Methodist Church in Midwest City, seniors. …
