Luke's Return a Shaw Thing as Memphis Welcomes Him Back

UNITED winger Memphis has warmly welcomed Luke Shaw back to the first-team fold ahead of Saturday's pre-season friendly at Wigan.

Shaw, who turned 21 on Tuesday, could make his first appearance since he broke his leg in the defeat at PSV Eindhoven 10 months ago when Jose Mourinho manages United for the first time at the DW Stadium.

Memphis and Shaw quickly bonded after the Dutchman joined United last summer and the pair struck up an encouraging rapport on the pitch in their opening seven games together, before Hector Moreno's fierce challenge on the left-back.

With Anthony Martial on holiday after featuring in Euro 2016, Memphis has a chance to regain his place in the United attack and is buoyed by Shaw's return.
