Betty Mae White was born January 17, 1922 to Beatrice and Robert Green in Rockford, Illinois. Since her parents were in show business and traveled a lot, she was raised by her grandparents in Rockford. She traveled many places as a child and got to be on stage with Al Jolson in New York City as a child. She took after her mother and was a singer in a band. In 1951, New Year's Eve, while she was singing, she met the love of her life, Robert and was married 3 months later. Betty followed her path in life and became a Real Estate Broker and also had her own ceramic business.__ She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church and she served on the alter guild. As the years passed she and Bob retired in Sarasota and resided at Sunnyside Village. …
