Under-18s Give Carsley Winning Start in Croatia

LEE Carsley enjoyed a victory in his first game as coach of City Under-18s.

The former Everton player has taken over the age group after working with Coventry's academy, Sheffield United and England Under- 19s.

He has now moved to the CFA as part of a shake-up of staff, with Jason Wilcox the new head of coaching and Rodolfo Borrell moving up to join Pep Guardiola's backroom staff.

The Under-18s and EDS are in Croatia for part of their pre- season preparations and Carsley's men wasted no time in notching up their first win.

Jadon Sancho, Phil Foden and Myles Beerman were all on the scoresheet in a 7-1 victory over FC Slovacko's Under-18s.
