The Ric Barron Band, fronted by the guitarist and vocalist inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame as part of the Exceptions, has a new weekly gig. The band, which just played a Topeka Blues Society Summertime Blues concert in Gage Park, will play from 7 to 10 p.m. Sundays at the just-opened Famous Door nightclub at 1465 S.E. Washington. The cover is $5. Food is available from Thelma's Soul Food Quarter, which shares the building is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Club hours are 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
