Valliance Brings 'Bank within a Bank' Downtown

OKLAHOMA CITY - Valliance Bank is rebranding its downtown branch to better reflect the surrounding population.

The Private Bank at Valliance concept has been well-received at the bank's McKinney, Texas, and Norman branches, said Jason Osborn, senior vice president and head of Private Bank. It's more of a unit within the $370 million bank, catering to entrepreneurs, business executives and other professionals, rather than a separate concern - "a bank within a bank," he said.

The new office is on the second floor of the Oklahoma Tower in the downtown business district. It takes over the 2,300-square-foot space previously held by Arvest, another community bank, which moved to street level about a block away on Park Avenue.

Osborn said the new branch will have lobby space and cashiers to handle traditional services such as accepting deposits. …
