Putnam County Schools is allying with the West Virginia Board of Education to make returning to school next month much easier for students in the Mountain State's flood-devastated areas. The state Board of Education has created a Back to School Supply Flood Relief Project, designed to provide every student in the flood areas with a bag of school supplies for the upcoming school year.

Requested and recommended supplies include:

" Three-ring binders

" Pocket folders/dividers
