HELPING DEPRESSED CHILDREN

St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute offers a monthly Advanced Parenting Skills Training Workshop. The workshop is designed to provide parents with techniques that they can immediately use with their child or teen who is dealing with severe anxiety or depression.

The workshop will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the institute's St. Louis office at 1129 Macklind Avenue. The September workshop will be held at the same time and place on Sept. 10.

These workshops provide an understanding of principles and a direct application of techniques for changing specific behaviors that parents can begin using immediately. …
