A former music teacher pleaded guilty on Wednesday to enticing a boy with money to engage in sexually explicit conduct as they communicated online during video chat sessions.

David M. Adams, 30, of Branchburg admitted to U.S. District Judge William H. Walls during a hearing in Newark that he used the Internet between May and September 2014 to persuade the boy to masturbate online.

He admitted he sent the boy payments via PayPal and other means in return for being allowed to watch him engage in sexual activity via Skype.

At the time, Adams was a music teacher at a middle school in Roxbury. He later worked as a music teacher at Bridgewater-Raritan High School in Somerset County, authorities said. Adams was arrested last September. …
