'Gun Pulled' during Fight Involving 20 Men

POLICE were called to a huge fight involving up to 20 men in Salford yesterday afternoon.

Officers have been unable to confirm to the M.E.N. reports that a gun was pulled during the bust-up on Bolton Road in Irlams o' th' Height at about 12.25pm.

By the time police arrived the men who had been involved in the incident had gone.

It is understood police are examining an allegation that at least one of those involved is an associate of Salford 'untouchable' Leevon Birchall.

The 23-year-old was stabbed 24 times in a gangland-style attack in Pendleton on June 23. He was lucky to survive. The latest incident happened outside a sandwich shop owned by Mr Birchall's mother.

A GMP spokeswoman confirmed officers were called to Bolton Road near the junction with Doveleys Road at 12. …
