2 Men Charged with Assaulting Police during Stage Ae Concert

Pittsburgh police arrested two Ted Nugent fans at a concert Tuesday night on the North Shore after they said the men became belligerent and attacked them after being kicked out.

Daniel Cunningham, 30, of Butler and his uncle, George Raiders, 53, of Hampton, were charged with various crimes including aggravated assault for allegedly kicking, punching, pushing and spitting on officers.

Police said concert security brought Mr. Cunningham to the "ejection area" around 7 p.m. after he passed out in the middle of the concert floor at Stage AE. Mr. Cunningham cried, refused to talk to police and then became violent, according to an affidavit.

As off-duty officers who were working security tried to calm Mr. Cunningham, security brought in his uncle. Police said they explained the situation to Mr. Raiders and said Mr. Cunningham was not in trouble but was being kicked out. …
