21-Year-Old Clairton Man Arraigned in Fatal Shooting

About a half-hour before he died, Chazz Bush told a police officer who had shot him, according to court documents. Their conversation, police said, was recorded on the officer's body camera.

Allegheny County Police used that video and a statement from the officer to arrest Dyran Davenport, 21, of Clairton, in the killing. Mr. Davenport surrendered Monday and was arraigned early Tuesday on one count of homicide. He remains in the Allegheny County Jail without the possibility of posting bail.

Clairton police were called about 7:20 p.m. Friday to the 800 block of Third Street for a report that a man had been shot. When Officer Michael Klein arrived, he found Mr. Bush, also of Clairton, lying on the rear deck of a home, shot multiple times. …
