GUTHRIE - For the second consecutive year, the Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association's Range Round-Up ended in a tie between the Beebe Livestock and McCoy Ranch team and Drummond Land and Cattle.

McCoy Ranch and Beebe Livestock are both in Ada. While they are separate operations, they joined labor forces many years back.

Drummond Land and Cattle of Pawhuska is a partnership between Chuck, Tim and Ladd Drummond. Tim Drummond is Range Round-Up Committee chairman.

The OCA Range Round-Up at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie features 12 teams of cowboys from Oklahoma ranches.

"We like to call the event Cowboys Helping Kids," said Tim Drummond.

Children's Hospital Foundation has been the selected charity to benefit from the Range Round-Up for 20 years. The OCA has donated more than $420,000 to the foundation.

"We participate because we enjoy the comradery," said Jet McCoy, team member of the McCoy/Beebe team. …
