A CAFE boss is using negative TripAdvisor reviews to lure in customers to try 'the worst porridge one woman had in her life.' .

Arlo Calderbank, 27, manager at the Nook Neighbourhood Cafe in Stockport, was left fuming by the vitriolic comments left on the popular review website.

But rather than let the reviewer have the last laugh, Arlo instead began writing them on the black board in a series of tongue- in-cheek messages, which have gone viral online - clocking up more than 12,000 likes and 2,000 shares.

Other boards that Arlo has produced using negative Trip Advisor reviews include "Free cake, unlimited refills, false advertising", and "The finest (undercooked) porridge in town".

Arlo said: "The customers have been loving the signs. They've been telling us how funny they are. The lady's comment was quite disappointing because we try to provide the best service at all times. …
