IT'S year six for Ramsbottom Festival - the Bury Met's big takeover of the town's cricket ground for three days of live music.

It's a family feast of fun, but the biggest draw for lots of people is the extensive line up of big name bands and emerging acts.

Here's a breakdown of what you'll see this year.

FRIDAY THEY'VE already had a bit of a triumphant summer in Manchester when it comes to festivals, having smashed it at Bluedot, and now Public Service Broadcasting are back to headline the opening night of Rammy Fest. Also on the bill is Liverpudlian musical genius Julian Cope, plus: Slow Readers Club, Loka, Lake Komo, Larkins, Liines, Glass Caves, Adventures of Salvador, Nev Cottee, UkePunk, Rik Warren, The Jade Assembly, Jolly And The Lightweight, Bamba Yay - In Dub, Last Race Home, and The Groove Emperors.

SATURDAY SUPERGRASS superstar songwriter Gaz Coombes is Saturday's headliner, with other highlight sets expected from The Selector, The Travelling Band, and Horsebeach.

Also playing are: Recreations, Rusty Shackle, Animal Noise, Cattle & Cane, Harp And A Monkey, White Boy, Delamere, Holy Moly And The Crackers, New York Tourists, James Holt, Maia, We Came From Wolves, REWS, Richard Lomax, The Hubbards, David Gibb, Burgundy Blood, Sittin' Pretty, Celtic Brew, Our Fold, Unit 22, and Liam McClair SUNDAY HUEY Morgan's mega musical mash up Fun Lovin' Criminals get to take the festival home on Sunday, in the year they celebrate 20 years since releasing debut album Come Find Yourself.
