WAYNE -- Police say a Paterson man, released after being charged with breaking into a car at the Willowbrook Mall, was arrested again five minutes later for allegedly doing the same thing near police headquarters.

Darryl Williamson's troubles began when he was spotted trying to throw a brick through the window of a Toyota Camry, Capt. Laurence Martin said Wednesday. Martin said Williamson finally resorted to kicking out the window of the parked car, adding that when police and mall security officers later found him aboard a bus filled with other passengers he had a woman's handbag in his possession. Martin said the 46-year-old suspect also had two glassine bags of heroin with him.

Williamson, who Martin said had been banned from the shopping mall previously because of earlier "encounters with security and police" was arrested and taken to headquarters for processing. …
