* #PullAnAllNighter: What better way to usher in a new exhibit than with an all-night dance party? The Carnegie Museum of Art lit up the night with an extravagent event on Friday that started at 7 p.m. and went into the wee hours of Saturday (4 a.m!). NIGHTIME opened the Hillman Photography Initiative's LIGHTIME, where artists explore photography's measurement of light and time in ways that investigate contemporary social issues. Outside by the fountain, guests were greeted by Colonel Eagleburger's Highstepping Goodtime Band. Josh & Gab stopped by at 8 p.m. to entertain partygoers, and for those arriving around 9 p.m., 1Hood kept the party going. All ages were welcome (until 10 p.m.) to enjoy the exhibits throughout the museum; the East Winds Symphonic Band that played in the Music Hall; Teenie Time, which showcased poets, dancers and artists performing short works inspired by the photography of Charles "Teenie" Harris in the Hall of Architecture; and much more. …
