MANCHESTER'S Olympic golden couple have signed a deal to write a joint autobiography.

After a bidding war between publishers, Jason Kenny and Laura Trott have revealed their book will be released on November 10, in time for Christmas.

The couple, who are engaged to be married, have won 10 Olympic gold medals between them and captured the nation's hearts during this summer's Rio games.

Publishers Michael O'Mara books say the joint effort will have their relationship 'at its core.' .

It will describe their unique position of competing in the same sport and how their careers affect their daily lives, according to the publishers. The book will detail how both prepared for their Olympic success, as well as the highs and lows of the process.

In addition, it will chronicle their early years, their family life and how they met and fell in love.

Bolton-born Jason, who has now surpassed Sir Bradley Wiggins and Sir Steve Redgrave's medal tally and equalled Sir Chris Hoy's record six golds, said: "Eight years, three Olympics and 10 gold medals between us: this will be the inside story of how we have pulled it all off - the big races, the tactics and training, the struggle and the success. …
