'The Mustanger and the Lady' Begins Filming

OKLAHOMA CITY - Chasing Sunsets LLC, a northwest Arkansas-based production company, in association with the Oklahoma Film and Music Office, said the feature film The Mustanger and The Lady has started principal photography in Oklahoma. Inspired by the 150th novel by prolific western writer Dusty Richards, executive producers Amber N. Lindley and Kenn Woodard brought this project to the state with Oklahoma native James Cotton as the director.

"Local casting director Christopher Freihofer and Los Angeles casting director Ricki Maslar have been instrumental in garnering exceptional talent for us and the Oklahoma rebate program is a stellar example of why independent filmmakers bring their projects to this great state," Woodard said in a press release.

The Mustanger and The Lady is a western romance about Julie, a young woman who finds the courage to escape her captive lifestyle after being held against her will and forcefully engaged in prostitution in a violent saloon. …
