Warehouse Project Backing Closed Club ; Night Will Help London's Fabric Venue Which Was Controversially Shut Down after Deaths of Two Clubbers

A SPECIAL club night will be held at the Warehouse Project in support of a London nightclub which has been shut down.

The night on Friday, November 11, at the Store Street venue will be in aid of Fabric, one of the capital's most well known nightspots.

The venue has had its licence revoked after the death of two teenagers, who died of suspected drug overdoses.

The Warehouse Project said it is an "outrage" that the club has had action taken against it.

The event will include performances by Detroit-based rapper Danny Brown, as well as grime artist Wiley and rappers Section Boyz.

Organisers said: "Many in the electronic music scene and beyond will have been shocked by the recent revocation of Fabric's licence by Islington council.

"Regarded internationally as a cultural institution and an incubator for emerging talent, it is an outrage that this action has been taken against the club. …
