AHEAD of one of the biggest fortnights in the club's history, Salford Red Devils head coach Ian Watson insists his side is ready to fight for a Super League place, starting at Batley Bulldogs.

For Watson and his side, it's simple - fail to pick up a win tomorrow and it's game over. Assuming London Broncos win at home to Featherstone Rovers, Salford will be resigned to playing Championship rugby league next year. However, win and their hopes are still alive, taking part in the Million Pound game, a winner takes all scenario against either Hull KR or Huddersfield Giants.

After losing to London and Leigh earlier in the middle eights, Watson states the players have to be prepared to dig deep against Batley, a team that have little left to pay for having failed to pick up a single point since the split.
