Deputies Chase Man along Boulevard after Shots Fired on Cross Lanes Street

A Cross Lanes man was arrested Thursday after allegedly firing a pistol in the direction of several homes, and then leading deputies on a pursuit along Kanawha Boulevard in Charleston where the Rod Run & Doo Wop classic car show is ongoing. Timothy Alan Sutton, 38, of Rust Lane, is charged with felony wanton endangerment and fleeing from police.

Kanawha sheriff's deputies were dispatched Thursday morning to a disturbance on Rust Lane. Dispatchers told deputies Sutton was in the road in front of his home screaming and waving a pistol, which he then allegedly fired in the direction of four occupied houses, according to a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha Magistrate Court.

Sutton left the area in a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup before deputies arrived. …
