Big Macs Rout Host Shaler Canon-Mcmillan Rolls to Class 6a Win

For the first time in eight years, the Canon-McMillan football team is riding a winning streak.

Whether on offense or defense, the Big Macs (3-4) produced big performances all around Saturday afternoon in a 43-7 Class 6A non-conference romp at Shaler (0-7).

Canon-McMillan already has matched its win total from last season and now has won two games in a row for the first time since 2008 when it reached the Class AAAA playoffs, also its most recent postseason berth.

Rahmiere Knight caught 10 passes for 210 yards, both of which are believed to be school records, with a touchdown while Bryan Milligan rushed for 191 yards and four scores on 21 carries. Andrew Engel picked off three passes on defense and also caught two touchdown passes.
