The first Healthy Taste Festival and Culinary Challenge took place on Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Schoenbaum Family Enrichment Center on Patrick Street in Charleston. The festival showcased local culinary competitors and mobile food vendors, with dishes prepared with locally grown produce as primary ingredients.

Competitors represented novice and veteran chefs.
