OU's Gallogly College of Engineering Receives $60,000 Grant

NORMAN - Boeing awarded the Gallogly College of Engineering at the University of Oklahoma a $60,000 grant to help support science, technology, engineering and mathematics programs benefiting junior high and high school students.

The grant also will support STEM teacher development in Oklahoma.

"Boeing supports organizations that provide high-quality, real- world learning opportunities that allow students to develop their skills, do what they dream and build something better," said Jenny Hatton, Boeing Oklahoma City Corporate Giving specialist. "By working with the OU College of Engineering and supporting its education and outreach efforts, we are helping close the STEM workforce gap."

The Gallogly College of Engineering offers multiple programs that encourage young students to pursue STEM degrees, several which will benefit from the Boeing grant. …
